Nostoi Pro Member Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct v1.3 (25 Sep 2026)

Preamble

Nostoi Pro Membership buys standing — eligibility to receive seller introductions and a visible Nostoi Pro badge — and nothing else. It is paid for, and we say so openly; it is never an endorsement, and it never buys influence over what Nostoi advises buyers or sellers. This Code sets out how a Nostoi Pro member behaves in return. It works alongside the Nostoi Commercial Terms (including clause 9, Nostoi Pro Membership) and never overrides them: where this Code and the Commercial Terms differ, the Commercial Terms prevail.

  1. 1. Uphold the commercial firewall

You acknowledge that no payment to Nostoi — membership, credits or Spotlight — ever changes Nostoi's advice, matching, ranking, warnings or anything a buyer sees outside a labelled Sponsored panel, other than the room that panel takes above Nostoi's own listings and the moment it takes to load. You will never claim, imply or sell the suggestion that it does.

  2. 2. Be honest about the badge

The Nostoi Pro badge means you pay for membership and commit to these standards. You will not present it as a Nostoi endorsement, ranking, vetting or recommendation, to sellers, buyers or anyone else.

  3. 3. Respect "Your Listing, Your Lead"

Introductions arising from another agent's listing belong to that agent. You will not intercept, divert or solicit around another agent's introduction, and you will work only the introductions Nostoi assigns to you.

  4. 4. Hold your professional standing

You declare that you hold current PPRA registration and a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate, and that every certificate the law requires of the business through which you practise is in place. You will keep this true for as long as you are a member, and you will tell Nostoi without delay if any of it lapses or is suspended — loss of legal standing to practise ends membership under the Commercial Terms.

  5. 5. Respond to introductions with real commitment

When a seller is introduced to you, you will make contact promptly and treat the introduction as a priority, and you will record the outcome in your Agent Dashboard by the deadline shown for that introduction. An honest ‘unable to contact despite genuine attempts’ is a valid outcome and is never held against you.

  6. 6. Record only the truth

You will never record a contact, outcome or credential you know to be false. A false contact confirmation shown to be untrue and unexplained is a termination ground, not a strike.

  7. 7. Care for personal information (POPIA)

Seller and buyer details reach you for one purpose: the introduction. You will process them lawfully under the Protection of Personal Information Act — use them only for that introduction and the mandate that may follow, keep them secure, share them with no one outside that purpose, add no one to marketing lists without their consent, and stop using the details of anyone who asks you to.

  8. 8. Keep your listings honest and up to standard

Your listings will be accurate, current and honestly presented, and you will keep your average listing quality at or above the published threshold. Every deduction is explained in your dashboard, with the fix named.

  9. 9. Deal fairly

You will treat sellers and buyers introduced through Nostoi with honesty and professional courtesy, without pressure or misleading statements, and in line with the PPRA Code of Conduct and consumer protection law.

  10. 10. Cooperate with enforcement

You accept the enforcement ladder in clause 9 of the Commercial Terms: strikes that lapse after 90 days, the listing-quality cure window, automatic pause of introductions, badge and billing when the ladder requires it, and automatic lift when the cause is resolved. You may appeal any strike once from your dashboard, and nothing escalates while your appeal is open. Termination is reserved for the serious grounds listed in the Commercial Terms.

  11. 11. Accept this Code per version

You accept this Code in your portal, and again whenever its version changes. Nostoi records the version you accepted, your account and agency, and the date and time, as described in the Commercial Terms and Privacy Policy. Changes apply only after your re-acceptance.
